Arsenal star, Oshoala donates to charity


Arsenal Ladies star and Super Falcons of Nigeria forward Asisat Oshoala has donated football kits and gifts to former grassroots academy FC Robo in Mushin , schools and also visited the less privilege home .
Oshoala is also understood to be working on a partnership with the Lagos State Football Association on a yet-to-be disclosed project



Oshoala Wins FA Cup With Arsenal Ladies


Nigeria international Asisat Oshoala starred for Arsenal Ladies in their 1-0 win over Chelsea to lift English Women FA Cup title on Saturday.
Oshoala started the encounter and was a delight to watch against fellow Nigeria-born England international Eniola Aluko and came close twice as Danielle Carter's brilliant srike handed victory to Pedro Martinez Losa's ladies at Wembley.
The Super Falcons striker came close in the 43rd and 61st minutes but her efforts were denied before she was replaced in the 88th minute.
The Nigerian striker was on for the entire duration, as the game ended in favour of the North London club, making history after leaving the Liverpool Ladies. Daniela Carter made the difference for Arsenal Ladies 18 minutes into the game. The winger cuts inside, skips past her marker and bends the ball into the top corner.

Kelly Smith hits the bar in the 48th minute, as Oshoala delivered a good cross, but the striker rattles the woodwork. Nigeria-born English striker, Eniola Aluko replaced Carney in the 55th minute, as Chelsea made their second change.

Arsenal Ladies got their FA WSL campaign off to an impressive start with a 3-1 win over Reading Women at Meadow Park.
The Gunners had invested heavily in their squad over the summer and Pedro Martinez Losa named Asisat Oshoala at the tip of an attack including Marta Corredera and Danielle Carter, with England international Fara Williams left on the bench.
The hosts had much the better of the first half but were kept waiting until the 34th minute to claim the opener, when Dominique Janssen struck from outside the box.

Their lead was doubled soon after half-time as former Liverpool striker Oshoala struck on her debut, though that prompted a rally from Reading that saw Jade Boho Sayo bring the scoreline back to 2-1 just before the hour.
Carter calmed any worries in the Arsenal side 11 minutes later, heading home to secure a comfortable win for the Gunners.
It was a magnificent debut for Oshoala and a great victory for Pedro Martinez Losa’s side as they now sit atop the WSL with three points and two goals.

In the night’s other women League games 1 matches last year’s runners-up Manchester City Women claimed a 1-0 victory over Nott County Ladies thanks to Steph Houghton’s last-minute strike.
Liverpool Ladies also got their campaign off to a victorious start with off season signing Shanice van de Sanden getting the only goal against Birmingham City Ladies.
