Players of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) All-Stars suffered a slim 2-1 defeat in the hands of Spanish side, Valencia CF in the La Liga tour friendlies at the Luis Suner Pico Stadium, Alzira-, Valencia-Spain on Wednesday.
Alvaro Medran opened scoring for Valencia 10 minutes into the match, Enyimba forward, Joseph Osadiaye equalized for the Nigeria All-Star team in the 32nd minute. Rodrigo Moreno Machado scored the match winner in the 84th minute, as the game ended 2-1 at full time.
The likes of ikechukwu Ezenwa, Etim Mathew, Jamiu Alimi, Chinedu Udoji picked the starting shirt for the NPFL All-Stars tutored by Salisu Yusuf led-technical crew.
The Nigeria All-Star team came close to scoring on several occasions, but failed to convert the chances in the most entertaining game.

In spite of the 2-1 loss, it was a savouring experience for the NPFL All-Stars players who gave their best in the game.
