Arsenal has overtaken Chelsea to become the most valuable Premier League club in London, according to Forbes’ list of the World’s Most Valuable Sports Teams.
In the latest study the Gunners have rose 13 places from last year to reach number 23 on the list, which also includes 27 NFL franchises among other sporting sides.
Dropped
Their London rivals Chelsea have dropped five places to position 36 after a season to forget last season where they failed to defend the title and missed the champions league cut after finishing at position 10 last season. Arsenal are worth £1.53billion whilst Chelsea are valued at £1.26billion. Manchester United are still the most valuable side in England with £2.51billion while Real Madrid are the most valuable football team on the planet with a value of £2.75 billion.
