Former Nigeria star Stanley Okoro aka ‘Little Messi’ was sent off in a Nigeria league match involving his club Abia Warriors at Nasarawa United on Wednesday.
Former Golden Eaglets star Okoro was sent off in the 62nd minute after his second booking.
He is attempting to revive a once promising career which had taken him to Spain and Bulgaria.
Enyimba midfielder Nzube Anaezemba was also sent off in his team’s game at MFM in Lagos on Wednesday.
He was dismissed in the 73rd minute after his second caution.
