The number of Leicester City fans attending local hospital emergency departments have doubled as they celebrate the side's historic Premier League title.
Leicester Royal Infirmary have asked people who do not need emergency care to call for healthcare advice instead after the influx of people arriving.
On Twitter the hospital wrote that it was 'feeling the effect' of the team's celebrations after the Foxes beat Everton 3-1 at home.
@Leic_hospital is feeling the effect of the @LCFC game yesterday. If you don't need to come to A&E please don't. Call NHS111 for advice/care— Leicester Hospitals (@Leic_hospital) May 8, 2016
The hospital said it had seen twice as many patients on Saturday night and Sunday morning than it normally would, with many suffering alcohol-related injuries.
After the match, thousands of fans took to the streets of the city to celebrate.
Ok Leicester peeps- take it easy today so we can look after those with true emergencies... Stay safe 😉 https://t.co/PpIT5nNz2g— rachel (@rachrwlnds) May 8, 2016
Partying too hard? @Leic_hospital say twice as many patients in A+E last night than norm, "plea" to patients to stay away unless necessary— Lee Stott (@leeastottSKY) May 8, 2016
