There are likely to be a few sore heads in Leicester this morning as the city joined Jamie Vardy and his teammates in celebrating their football club's first ever Premier League title win which ranks among the greatest sporting achievements of all time.
The Leicester City players had gathered at striker Vardy's £1million home last night in the hope of having a title party, and their dream along with tens of thousands of fans across the world was realized when Tottenham Hotspur could only manage a draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Spurs had to win to keep the title race alive, but despite taking a 2-0 lead were pegged back to 2-2 in West London, sparking wild scenes of euphoria in Leicester as the city's club were crowned champions with two league games to spare.
Fans went wild at the final whistle, while pictures and videos also emerged of the jubilant players at Vardy's house. He and his teammates were seen jumping around singing 'Champions' as soon as it was confirmed Leicester City had won their first top-flight title in the club's 132-year history.
Hundreds of supporters then congregated outside Vardy's home to cheer on their heroes, accompanied by drivers who beeped their horns in celebration after the final whistle. Some parties in Leicester's city centre even spilled out onto the streets as supporters could not hide their delight.

Leicester had been rank outsiders after narrowly avoiding relegation last season, and barely a year ago were bottom of the league, but the 'David' club beat the Goliaths of English football in one of the most unlikely triumphs ever seen in world sport.
The England striker invited the Foxes squad to his Melton Mowbray home, including the likes of Danny Drinkwater, Leonardo Ulloa, N'Golo Kante, Andy King, Jeffrey Schlupp and captain Wes Morgan.
Christian Fuchs was also among the guests and the Austria international posted a video on Twitter showing the group celebrating wildly as the title was confirmed.
