Morgan Amalitano scored the only goal as LOSC won again on Saturday, beating relegation-threatened Toulouse FC 1-0 at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
LOSC 1 - 0 Toulouse FC
Amalfitano struck in the 17th minute in France's far north as he netted his first goal since returning to Ligue 1 following a stint in England. The former FC Lorient and Olympique de Marseille midfielder controlled and fired home low from just inside the area, although the goal owed much to the talent of Sofiane Boufal, who took down a Florent Balmont pass and succeeded in laying the ball off for Amalfitano while under pressure from the Toulouse defence.
It was a third successive win for Lille, who have lost just one of their last nine league games. Relegation is surely no longer a threat for Frédéric Antonetti's side, and they might even make a late challenge for European qualification if they can carry on this run.

Lille could have won by a greater margin, but Eder was unable to find the target following a Boufal cross late on. Toulouse, meanwhile, were left frustrated as strike duo Martin Braithwaite and Wissam Ben Yedder both had off days in front of goal.
Pascal Dupraz's side were hoping to build on their big Garonne derby win against Girondins de Bordeaux last time out but this setback leaves them still seven points from safety with seven games left, and that gap could grow if GFC Ajaccio take anything from their trip to Nice on Sunday.
