Petr Cech conceded twice as Czech Republic was defeated by Turkey, and it has set a new tournament record. Czech Republic have crashed out at the group stage while Arsenal keeper Petr Cech exits the tournament with a record.
A goal in each half by Burak Yilmaz and Ozan Tufan helped Turkey beat the Czech Republic 2-0. The heartbreaking defeat means that Petr Cech has conceded 21 goals in the EURO tournament – the most of any goalkeeper in the European Championship history.
Tuesday’s defeat to Turkey has left them bottom of Group D, having secured just a point against Croatia in their three group games.
