Wolfsburg-bound Victor Osimhen is now a major injury concern for Nigeria ahead of an U20 AFCON qualifier in Burundi after his shoulder pulled out in a test game against the country’s Olympic team on Thursday.
Osimhen, whose goal sunk Dream Team VI 2-1, was forced out of the match after he pulled his left shoulder following a clash with his marker .
The 17-year-old striker was in serious pain and subsequently had an ice pack around the affected letting shoulder.
A proper assessment of the injury will be done by the next 48 hours.
He is the livewire of the Flying Eagles attack and as such everything will be done to ensure he is available for the first leg qualifier in Bujumbura on May 21.
