I hope to play abroad soon says Matthew Etim of Enugu Rangers
Enugu Rangers defender Matthew Etim said he is looking to complete a move abroad in the summer.
The versatile defender has been linked with a few clubs in Europe and North Africa and while he admitted there are not any concrete offers at the moment, he said he hopes he can seal a deal during the summer transfer window.
“A few clubs have spoken to me, but there isn’t anything concrete yet, and I hope I can move when the transfer window opens in Europe,” he said.
“I am still with Rangers at the moment but once I get a concrete offer, I will move.”
‘The Flying Antelopes’ vice-captain has been in inspired form this term as Rangers aim to end a 32-year run without a trophy, and featured for Nigeria at the African Nations Championship (CHAN) earlier this year in Rwanda.
He was also on the Nigeria squad for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Egypt in Kaduna and Alexandria.
