Nasarawa United midfielder Esosa Igbinoba has been picked by soccer80.com as Nigeria league Player of Week 14 following his brace, which helped the Lafia club beat Warri Wolves 2-0 over the weekend.
He was picked ahead Plateau United's Ibeh Johnson, who scored the equaliser in Ibadan against hosts Shooting Stars to end the game 2-2 and MFM's winger Sikiru Olatunbosun, whose brace helped the hosts demolish Akwa United 3-0.
Other contenders were Pillars striker Adamu Mohammed, who scored the winner in a 1-0 win over Sunshine Stars in Akure, and Chukwuma Onuwa of MFM who dazzled in his team's big win over Akwa United.
After an indifferent start to the season, Igbinoba has now scored five goals this season to be among the leading scorers in this campaign
