Super Eagles midfielder Nnamdi Oduamadi is happy to hit the ground running at his new Finish Club as he registered a wining start for HJK Helsinki in their 2-0 thumping of IFK Mariehamn in the League opener on Saturday.
In an exclusive chat Oduamadi said he is excited that he is back in action and also happy to start on a positive note in a new club and a new country.
“It feels good to be back and doing what I know how to do best; which is playing good football; starting the season with a win and clean-sheet is morale boosting, I hope we can sustain this good start” Oduamadi who was close to scoring on his debut but only rattled the bar stated.
Oduamadi is on-loan from AC Milan and this is his fifth club; he has featured for Torino, Varese, Brescia, Latina and Crotone, all in the the Italia Serie B Calcio.
The Super Eagles midfielder stated that he is positive that he will get silverware in his sojourn in Finland.
“I am here to help my club win trophies, I know with hard work and by God’s grace things will work well for me here” Oduamadi concluded.
HJK Helsinki finished third in the League last season after six consecutive triumphs from 2009-2014
