Mikel, Oscar to leave Chelsea for Pogba

Nigeria midfielder, John Obi Mikel as well as the Brazilian duo of Oscar and William are reportedly going to be ‘sacrificed’ by Chelsea to help them raise needed funds for the transfer of Paul Pogba.

According to Italian publication Sport Mediaset, incoming Chelsea Coach Antonio Conte will sanction the clearout sale of the trio to help him land his prime target, Pogba.
The Italian manager is a big fan of Pogba who he actually helped to make his breakthrough during his time in Turin with Juventus, and the French international is a top target for the Italian boss this summer, as he eyes a British record transfer of £80m.
In order to fund such a move though, sales will have to be completed and Oscar, who’s been widely linked with an exit throughout the past year, will be axed along with the long-serving John Obi Mikel.
It is also understood that Juan Cuadrado – who is enjoying a fine run of form on loan in Turin from Chelsea and may be used as a bargaining chip in a future transfer for Pogba.
Already, Mikel has made it clear that he would not return to a bench warming role under any manger and would instead leave for a club where he is wanted to play week-in-week-out.
