FC IfeanyiUbah forward Nico Dao emerged as the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) star player for Week 6.
The Malian scored a brace to help IfeanyiUbah trash Ikorodu United 4-1 on Sunday. Dao, who also played for FC Djoliba before he joined the ambitious NPFL side, was delighted to scored two beautiful goals.
He was picked ahead of Akwa United's Friday Ubong, who also scored a brace in a 2-0 win over Plateau United on Friday night and Sunshine Stars goalkeeper Abiodun Akande, who was great in goal to stop Giwa FC from increasing the 1-0 loss scoreline.
