Warri Wolves sack players who refuse to lie over unpaid salary

Several players including Markson Ojobo and Solomon Babatunde were fired by Warri Wolves after they refused to sign the indebtedness form issued by the LMC as the Nigeria league club had yet to pay them three months’ salaries.

According to AfricanFootball.com specially gathered that some other players, mostly the home boys, like Goodluck Onamado and Joseph Eyimofe agreed to go along with the club's script by signing the form even though they have not been paid for the past three months.

“The players who refused to sign the form to show the club is not owing them any salaries were promptly eased out of the club,” a top source told AfricanFootball.com
Both Ojobo and Solomon Babatunde are now believed to have joined Rivers United.
