Managerless Everton cruised to a 3-0 win against Norwich at Goodison Park courtesy of goals from James McCarthy, Leighton Baines and Kevin Mirallas.
Everton took the lead after only 19 minutes when midfielder James McCarthy fired a stunning 20-yard strike into the top corner after being picked out by teenager Kieran Dowell.
The Toffees doubled their lead when Leighton Baines drilled a low penalty into the corner of John Ruddy’s goal, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way to put his side into a 2-0 lead.
Forward Kevin Mirallas scored the third goal for Everton to seal a comprehensive win.
