Luis Enrique is confident that Barcelona will not slip up in their final three La Liga matches as they remained in control of their own title destiny with a 6-0 battering of Sporting Gijon at Camp Nou.
Wins for title rivals Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid earlier in the day cranked the pressure up on the Spanish champions, but they responded with a devastating display on home turf.
Luis Suarez scored four goals in a match for the second time in the space of three days after inspiring Barca to an 8-0 win over Deportivo La Coruna in midweek, while Lionel Messi and Neymar were also on the scoresheet
Barca subsequently stay top, level with Atleti and one point above Madrid, and head coach Luis Enrique believes they can take nine points from matches against Real Betis, Espanyol and Granada to retain the title.
"We have a game at home and two away left," he said. "It looks positive. We no longer have the [points] advantage.
"[But] I think we will not fail any of the three. I hope so because we would be champions.
"Let's focus on a week's worth of training, which is something we do not usually have and we can work on things that normally we cannot."
Barca's return to form has been emphatic, but Luis Enrique issued a warning that there is no further room for error.
"I rely on what I see on the pitch," he added. "If we play well, we cause difficulties.
"I am optimistic because I see my players train and see my players fight against complicated situations. We've been around a negative dynamic.
"Right now we are in a better situation of the three challengers, but we have no room to trip up."
Meanwhile, Suarez has set his sights on winning the Pichichi trophy awarded to La Liga's top goalscorer, but is more determined to secure the league title with Barcelona.
Just three days on from inspiring Barca to an 8-0 drubbing of Deportivo, Suarez was again at his brilliant best with another four-goal haul.
In the process, Suarez took his tally to 53 goals in all competitions this term and he also moved on to 34 in La Liga, three clear of Real Madrid rival Cristiano Ronaldo.
Barca, though, remain locked in a fierce battle for the title, and Suarez's focus is on keeping their rivals at bay.
"I'm surprised to have scored eight goals in three days. I want to help the team, it was a difficult first half," he told reporters after the game.
"It is my goal to be the top scorer [in La Liga]. If it comes I welcome it, but the priority is the league."
Two of Suarez's four goals came from the penalty spot and he could have made it a hat-trick of efforts from 12 yards, but instead opted to let Neymar, who had lacked confidence throughout the match, convert Barca's third spot-kick of the game.
"More important than anything is the confidence that everyone feels which helps the team," he added.
"That [letting Neymar take the penalty] will benefit us all."
Luis Enrique leapt to the defence of Neymar, insisting the Barcelona forward is a top player, who never hides.
Neymar had come in for criticism amid Barca's three consecutive defeats earlier in April, having gone five matches without a goal.
But the Brazil captain has now scored in back-to-back La Liga matches and Luis Enrique was pleased with Neymar's response as Barca stayed top at Camp Nou.
"He's got a lot of personality, he's a top player and he keeps trying to do everything," Luis Enrique said.
"He never hides away. He's always fighting, he'll press our rivals, he can take a penalty even when things are going his way. That's why he is a top player. Other kind of players would try to be less participative into this situation.
"I would like to highlight the fans' attitude, singing 'Neymar, Neymar' when he needs it most. We need them to reinforce our player when things don’t go as we wish."
