Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored four as Paris St Germain wrapped up the Ligue 1 title in emphatic fashion with a 9-0 win over bottom club Troyes.
Their victory took Laurent Blanc’s men 25 points clear of second-placed Monaco and ensured they sealed the crown with eight games of the season still to go.
Ibrahimovic hit his first goal in the 46th minute after Edinson Cavani, Javier Pastore and Adrien Rabiot had given the visitors a 3-0 half-time advantage.
The Swede sealed his hat-trick within nine minutes before a Matthieu Saunier own goal put Paris – who secured their Champions League quarter-final place at the expense of Chelsea on Wednesday – seven goals ahead.
Troyes had substitute Lossemy Karaboue sent off in the 75th minute for hauling down Cavani in the area and although the Uruguayan missed his subsequent spot-kick, he fired home the rebound to grab his side’s eighth before Ibrahimovic completed the rout with two minutes to go.
